During the afternoon of today, the manufacturing process of the rivets was obtained, obtained by the casting using a bipartite metal mold. The video below shows the casting stage of the molten liquid metal in the metal mold.
Unlike the casting step of the green sand process, the mold had to be heated using a blowtorch to prevent the aluminum from solidifying very fast due to the heat exchange of the mold with the molten metal. In Figure 1 the metal mold is shown after the pouring step.

After demoulding the rivets, its deburring was carried out. This procedure is performed when the part reaches temperatures close to those of the environment. The final result obtained is shown in Figure 2.
