Manufacture of Permanent Metallic Mold.

With the opportunity of the team to obtain a metallic mold, despite considering the sand moulding process as the most suitable for rivets manufacturing, it was defined that the rivets would be not only obtained by the process of sand moulding but through a metallic mold as well.
Therefore, two riveted joints will be obtained at the end of the project, one made with rivets produced by the sand moulding process and the other with rivets made from
the  metallic mold. Accordingly, the half of the bipartite metal mold and the physical metal mold are shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2.
